For I tell you, you will not see Me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” ( Matthew 23:39)

The Name Of The Lord

Jesus had argued with religious leaders to show people a new way to live, and He healed countless sick people. He wants people to find the truth of God’s grace and experience real life, but many people disagree with Him. Jesus approached Jerusalem during His last week on earth, His heart broke for the people’s stubbornness and hard hearts. Jesus knew that would prove devastating to people that make Him sad.

The greatest things in life are knowing and following Him. Jesus promised to come back. In His first time on earth, He came with a warm heart and a message of grace. When He comes again, He will come as the powerful, avenging Judge.

Jesus gives all of us a choice to acknowledge Him as our Savior now and celebrate or acknowledge Him as a  Judge when He comes back.

“Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Praise God in the highest heaven!” (Matthew 21:9)
