“Though He slay me, I will hope in Him. Nevertheless, I will argue my ways before Him. This also will be my salvation, For a godless man may not come before His presence.” (Job 13:15-16 )

There is no doubt that God allows adversity for at least three reasons. First, He may allow them to get our attention. Second, He may allow them to guide us to self-examination concerning our lives. Third, He may allow adversity to bring us to a place where we will change our beliefs and our behavior in life. Adversity means adverse or unfavorable fortune or fate, a condition marked by misfortune, calamity, or distress: Friends will show their true colors in times of adversity, an adverse or unfortunate event or circumstance: We will meet many adversities in life. Facing difficult challenges and overcoming them builds self-confidence, teaches self-control, and tends to foster an attitude of conscientiousness towards others, who may also face difficulties. Can also have a positive impact on our character.

The power of praise in times of trouble is that His joy bubbles up inside of us and covers us in peace. After we’ve experienced that power we will say as I do, “I will praise God at all times.”. As we all know praising God during difficult times is hard. But we can rely on Him to be our shield and defender. Powerful prayers are prayers of praise in the face of adversity. With the knowledge that God has a purpose for His glory and our good, we trust that no matter how painful the circumstance, He is worthy to be praised.
